John Gray

Sole Proprietor of Grayarea

The sole proprietor of Grayarea Design is John Gray who started the company in 2001. Since then John has worked for various companies in the San Francisco bay area from the smallest startup to some of the biggest corporations.

John has been designing things since he was first given a crayon. Always infatuated with the design of products and things around him, it was in high school he realized there was a job for designing all those things! This led him to study Industrial design and get his degree. Every year John was voted "Most Innovative" by his fellow Industrial Design peers. The web was emerging at this time and John focused on these new interactive tools to enhance his new product design skills. By his senior year, his achievements in interaction design led to the creation of a new Interactive Media course which he helped teach. John's passion for learning cutting edge technologies and applying it with clean design has kept his customers satisfied since he began freelancing in his college days.
