Logo and branding system designed for an open source enterprise software product. The logo was further developed into an informational graphic to represent what can be done with the software.

This start up had a name picked out and wanted to establish a logo and brand system while they worked on developing their software. This allowed them to go to VMWorld with a strong brand identity even though their product was unreleased. Their company secures virtual machines (by securing the hyper visor) and the design tries to show this isolation in the compartmentalized lettering.

Extending the identity into 3D space was the task for launching the exisitence of the company at VMworld. The tasks included an interactive kiosk terminal where people could submit their information to learn more about the products in the future.

This style guide was one of many design projects at BlueLane. Grayarea was brought in to fill in all the various design needs a start up would have. Though they already had a logo, an identity and clean design aesthetic was created. An entire library of icons, infographics, application interface design, brochures, presentations, and trade show signage were made over the course of several years.

This design was developed quickly in order to meet an upcoming trade show for Blue Lane.

Some examples of logo design process.

This logo concept was developed for a blossoming model aircraft reseller that had previously been without a proper logo. They needed a logo that could stand alone, but also be able to be used at events to represent their "team."
